Matthew Lee is a doctoral student in the School Psychology program at the University of British Columbia. He has held training positions in school, community and outpatient hospital settings, and worked with a variety of children and adolescents and their families. Matthew specializes in the psychoeducational assessments of children and youth, particularly those who are educated in French as a Second Language (such as the French Immersion or Francophone schools programs). He draws from his experiences with working on nationally-funded research projects with children with attention exceptionalities.

As a parent and a former teacher, Matthew endeavours to demystify the assessment process, and provide parents with the information they need to support their children at home and at school. As a doctoral student in an practicum with Wishing Star, Matthew works under the direct and close supervision of Dr. Michelle Kozey-Hayes.
